Recovering healtholic.

I help women care for their health without letting fear, conflicting advice, and the pressure to get it right take over their lives.

Through bodyOS, I teach women how to understand and respond to the body God designed with more confidence, discernment, and peace.

My Story

I didn’t always think of my body as something to listen to.

For most of my childhood and early adulthood, health felt pretty simple. Something happened, someone told me what to do, and I did it.

Ear infection? Take this. Fever? Take that. Skin issue? Use this.

I wasn’t questioning my body, but I wasn’t listening to it either. I just assumed health decisions came from somewhere outside of me.

Some of that came from the family I grew up in. I come from a long line of physicians. My grandfather, Dr. Donal Sheehan, served as dean of NYU School of Medicine, and my great-uncle, Dr. Harold Sheehan, was the pathologist whose work led to what is still known today as Sheehan syndrome.

Medicine was part of my family story long before it was part of mine. I trusted it, and I never thought to ask my body what it thought.

Then I got pregnant with my daughter, and something shifted.

Pregnancy was the first time I started seeing the body differently.

A friend introduced me to The Bradley Method, a natural childbirth course that taught me more about how the body participates in birth.

For the first time, I started asking a different kind of question:

What if the body was designed with more wisdom than I had ever been taught to notice?

That question changed everything. I became fascinated with chiropractic, nutrition, movement, holistic health, and the body’s God-designed ability to adapt, regulate, and communicate.

And for a while, all of that felt freeing.

Then caring about my health slowly became control.

03
The realization

When more information stopped helping

Eventually, I had more health information than I knew what to do with.

I had run the labs.
Tried the supplements. 28, to be exact.
Changed the routines.
Asked the experts.

And I still didn’t feel more confident.

That was the part I had missed

I had spent years learning about health without learning how to have a relationship with my own body.

I knew how to research.
I knew how to follow a protocol.
I knew how to look for the next answer.

I didn’t know how to notice what my body was communicating, stay curious, make a choice, and trust myself enough to see what happened next.

That realization changed the way I cared for myself. Eventually, it changed the way I practiced too.

04  ·  A different approach

Around that time, I worked with a practitioner who approached the body differently.

Instead of immediately asking, “What do we need to fix?” we paid attention to what my body was actually prioritizing.

That experience helped connect something I had been learning for years:

The body isn’t just something to manage.

It is something to understand.

That became the beginning of a completely different relationship with my health.

05
What I believe now

God didn’t design your body to be managed through fear.

He designed it to communicate.

That doesn’t mean you never need a doctor, practitioner, test, supplement, or outside perspective. I use all of those things.

It means none of them should replace your relationship with your own body.

✱

Health information can be useful without becoming your authority.

✱

Symptoms can give you information without becoming reasons to panic.

✱

You can ask for help without outsourcing every decision.

✱

You can care deeply about your health without spending your life trying to guarantee it.

That is the relationship I want women to experience.

06  ·  Both sides

I’ve seen this from both sides

As the practitioner

I’ve spent years working with women as a Doctor of Chiropractic and functional health practitioner.

I’ve studied physiology.
I’ve read the research.
I’ve ordered labs.
I’ve recommended supplements.
I’ve helped women make sense of symptoms that felt confusing.
As the woman

And I’ve also been the woman doing everything she knew to do and still wondering whether she was missing something.

Both experiences shape the way I work today.

I’m not interested in becoming another person you depend on for every answer.

I want to help you understand your body well enough to participate in your health with more confidence.

07  ·  The framework

That’s why I created bodyOS

bodyOS grew out of everything I had learned personally and professionally about what was missing in the way we care for our health.

We’re taught to learn about the body. We’re given rules for what to eat, what to take, what to track, and what to watch for.

But most of us were never taught how to build a relationship with the body we live in every day.

bodyOS is the framework I created to help change that.

It teaches you how to pay attention, build trust, and understand the body God designed so you can respond with more confidence and discernment instead of constantly looking outside yourself for the next answer.

Because the goal isn’t to become better at managing your body.

It’s to know your body.

My Mission

I help women move from fear into peace by learning to understand the body God designed.

Not through another list of rules.
Not by pretending you’ll never need outside help.
And not by giving you one more protocol to follow perfectly.
Through relationship.

Because when fear loses its grip, peace has room to grow.

A few things about me

You’ll usually find me…

✱
With my husband or family.
✱
Reading something that makes me rethink what I thought I knew.
✱
Listening to Twenty One Pilots, Dwllrs, or Phil Wickham.
✱
Hunting down good sushi.
✱
Wearing sneakers that probably have more personality than the rest of my outfit.
✱
Talking about the body, theology, or both.
✱
Spending quiet time with God.
✱
And occasionally laughing at the fact that the recovering healtholic still lives inside me.
